The Meet and Eat Classes will be using the "Good Inside" Curriculum. "Good Inside" is a book written by Dr. Becky Kennedy, a clinical psychologist named the "The Millennial Parenting Whisperer" by Time Magazine. Her book was a #1 bestseller on the New York Times list, and she has amassed over 1.7 million followers on Instagram. The Good Inside philosophy teaches us to be sturdy leaders and set boundaries while maintaining a connection with our kids..= Join us on Tuesdays to learn "actionable strategies that will help parents move from uncertainty and self-blame to confidence and sturdy leadership." We will cover topics including sibling dynamics, deeply feeling kids, screen time battles, listening, refusal, power struggles, whining, tantrums, defiance and more.

Enjoy a meal, some laughs, and learn some new parenting techniques to make parenting more fun and enjoyable and less stressful and chaotic! Love and Logic is a research-based approach, and the authors have over 45 years of experience. Their practical tools and techniques are intended for parents to be able to apply immediately to a wide range of issues. This class is intended for adoptive/foster parents, educators, counselors, and mentors. These topics can also be applied to children who have not experienced trauma, and all parents are welcome!
